Puma Punku is located high in the mountains of Bolivia. The site have been dated to around 536 AD which is roughly the time frame when the roman empire was at it’s height. It is located about 12600 feet above sea level. When you get to the site you can feel the thinness of the air and if your not used to being up so high, you will definitely feel the effects. It is well above the tree line and many types of crops simply can’t grow there.
The people who live in the area are very friendly to tourists. Puma Punku has become a very popular tourist attractions every since the TV series Ancient Aliens featured this would heritage site on their show. The show points to the incredible stone work found at Puma Punku as evidence that we have been visited in the past by extraterrestrials.
When arriving on the site of Puma Punku, the first thing you notice is that the ground is literally strewn with giant monolithic blocks. Many of them half buried beneath the reddish clay dirt. It’s almost as if a child playing with their LEGO’s, got upset and scattered the toy block all over the place! But, keep in mind that many of these stone slabs and blocks weigh over 13 tons or more! When you approach the blocks you begin to get a feel for how massive some of them really are. But, even more impressive than the size and weight of these blocks, is the incredible stone work on the blocks themselves. Many of the blocks have perfect 90 degree angles and incredibly intricate carvings. Even more impressive to me is that many of the large blocks of stone, especially the large H blocks look almost exactly alike, as if they were all made on a giant machine and mass produced. Many have theorized that perhaps at one time, these large blocks of stone somehow fit together to build a large complex, much in the same way that LEGO’s fit together.
When touching many of the stones, you immediately notice how smooth many of them are. Andesite, which is what these stones are made of, is not naturally smooth. You have to polish them to make them feel that way. In order to polish something that big, you need a lot of people doing the work by hand or you need large powerful machines. Then, there is the matter of the deep relief carvings in the stones themselves. The are perfectly carved with such precision that even today, we would have difficulty recreating them. We would have to use computer controlled rotary tools and miter saws! Also, in many of the stones, there are perfectly cut straight grooves and drill holes that look as if they were machined. When you take into account that Andesite has a MOHS hardness rating of 7, it becomes very difficult to believe that these stones were carved by hand using hammer stones, which is about all that primitive people in that region had during that time.
So could it be possible that ancient travelers from the stars could have built Puma Punku as some type of base of operations while visiting our planet? The premise has been put forth by the Ancient Aliens TV show. There are also other monolithic sites across the world that are also hard to explain away as simply the work of ancient people. I plan to write about some of those other sites as well in the near future.
Coupled with so many recent siting of UFO’s / UAP’s, it becomes increasingly difficult to discount the possibility that our forefathers may have been visited by people from other worlds. There are so many legends by so many people from across the world all saying the same thing. That mankind has been visited in the past by travelers from the stars and that they imparted knowledge and morals to us. It become increasingly difficult to ignore the possibility. From writings within the bible to the ancient beliefs of the American Indians, the are many examples of written and oral history that seem to refer to the notion that we have been visited in the past by extraterrestrials and even more intriguing, that we are still being visited even today!
